Dave Rollins is a book maker, sculptor, Alchemist, and self-proclaimed Wizard. He received his MFA in Book Arts from the University of Iowa Center for the Book and his BFA in Sculpture from Middle Tennessee State University. He has taught a course in sculptural book arts at the UICB as well as, drawing, 2D and 3D design at MTSU. His books and sculptures have been shown nationally and he has had several solo exhibitions, the most recent being Caput Mortuum, exhibited at the UICB. Currently he resides in Murfreesboro with his wife and two cats, where he teaches art, heads his own freelance bindery called Black Magic Bindery, and continues to make sculpture while pondering the great mysteries of the universe.
